Before you even think about buying our Pivot chairs, Google images for swivel bar chairs. There are plenty. None have the clean simplicity of a great modernist design. It’s why I designed this one.  It’s even comfortable. Very comfortable. The circular motion of the swivel dictates a design where the structure radiates from the center of the seat. So now I am working on swivel chairs with casters. 

Pivot is available in two back shapes, the racetrack back and the square slat back. The choice of which depends on the interior. For maximum comfort, the seat height of a bar chair must be tailored to the height of the counter where it will be. We will work with you to get this just right.

Speaking of interiors, in addition to our standard rotary maple veneer, the backrests are available in a variety of natural woods: Walnut, Cherry, Oak, and Birds Eye Maple.
