Baobab table with bluegreen painted base

Baobab: new expression for bent-ply

The design of the Baobab table challenges the way we associate molded plywood with mid-century modern design.  The soft lyrical quality of the design has an enchantment that is the polar opposite of its utilitarian stereotype.  Since molded plywood may be the greenest material for furniture, it’s use should not be limited to a single style. Further, molded plywood is distinctive, its use is obvious, so we know immediately that it is sustainable. The bases to these tables are made from FSC certified Ash, and the tops can be made in your choice of materials. Tops have FSC certified birch cores; the exposed ply-edges match our seating. Earth friendly adhesives and finishes are used; table qualifies for LEED points. 100% made in USA. See more info about tables
