Greenbelt: modern design uses recycled belts
The Greenbelt seating group recycles automobile seat belts from a post industrial source. They transcend the uncertainty of present day green design by making its sustainability an obvious feature. Belts will last many years and are visually stunning because of their moiré effect. Not only is the belting comfortable and recycled, it is an alternative for the environmentally problematic use of urethane foam for seat suspension. Many beautiful colors are available. Since the belting is aftermarket, material colors can vary. Wood is European Beech, sustainably sourced from PEFC certified forests; adhesives and finishes are non-toxic.
