Gotham_armchair

I designed the Gotham chairs to use seat belt remnants. These chairs are strong and lightweight, a perfect chair for our world of limited space and resources. The design makes super efficient use of wood.

The belting is recycled automotive seat belt material. Seat belts are something we use every day, and maybe because of their utility, we never quite notice their beauty. The way they are woven catches light in interesting ways, always changing and sometimes even translucent. They are easy to clean, and as you would imagine, unbelievably strong, and fade resistant.

Black belts are standard and many colors are available. The colors we stock change regularly. Click on the bar below to see examples of belt colors.Suitable for all residential and contract use.
