Atmos: a shaker inspired design
These surprisingly comfortable chairs are inspired by the Shaker style. Though influenced by shaker design, they also inherit a modernist esthetic. Atmos chairs are the essence of OMG design because they build on traditional styles to evolve a truly sustainable design. Note the “ears” at the top of the back replace the characteristc shaker finials as a nod to nature. Their construction yields just 10% waste from tree to chair. Unless otherwise specified, the webbing is sourced from post industrial stocks of automotive seat belt webbing. Wood is American Ash sustainably sourced from FSC certified forests; adhesives and finishes are water based. Specify seats with simple cross strapping or basket woven. Suitable for all contract and residential applications.
